Use your labour

Apartment maintenance. There may be a lot of apartment blocks in your local community that could use someone handy. Contact the body corporate and offer your services for landscaping, gardening, window cleaning and minor repairs. The work can be done after hours or on weekends.

Email and Skype mean there’s not much that can’t be done from a laptop at home.Depending on your background, VAing might involve simple tasks like setting up meetings, making travel arrangements and handling client enquiries. All you need is a bit of tech nous, time on your hands and sharp organisation skills.
